Karmaloop.com was founded in 1999 to battle the evil forces of McFashion. In a world surrounded by kids wearing Abercrombie, Gap, Holister and the likes it was time for a time. Its not cool to show up at a party looking like a few other dudes there. Plus, the clothing wasnt much to brag about fashion wise. The guys who founded Karmaloop decided the world needed to be introduced to a fashion culture that was continuously growing. A culture that was always on the move for that fresh new look. And they thought it would be cool to start a website and get free clothes.

Karmaloop is now known as one of the biggest, if not THE biggest urban streetwear outfitters on the internet. Between 1999 and 2007 (coming into 2008 soon) the group at Karmaloop have made major moves. You have to start small before you can get big. Thats the most important thing to remember in business. The big dogs were once a small company at one time too. Greg, the CEO of Karmaloop started the company with 1 computer and no warehouse. Greg is a guy who had determination to give the fashion community the cutting edge clothing he loves himself. He had the will to put in the long hours as a small guy to get where he is today. This is a guy who use to store stock in his moms basement. A guy who use to take troops on the subway with shopping bags full of clothing to drop off at the post office to send to customers before he went to his daily job. He knew if he just kept his pace and kept that determination he would succeed. And that he did, BIG TIME. From a small apartment to Flagship Stores and one of the largest urban outfitters in the world thats something to be proud of.

Karmaloop gives a lot of thanks to their customers and is continuously offering discounts and deals on products to show their thanks. Due to these discounts that last FOREVER many people have been able to afford many clothes they may not have normally been able to afford. Gotta respect Karmaloop for that. Its the customers who have made Karmaloop who they are today. Without the customer base and the people their to back them up in those times when the odds didnt seem good they would have went nowhere.
